Dark Beginnings: Act I is Complete, and I Need Your Eyes
Hi everyone,
I’m thrilled to share that Act I of book 1 is officially complete!
Its a very early draft, all the core themes, players, character, are there.
This first act introduces the core POV characters, the world they inhabit, the rival kingdoms they serve (or defy), and the myths that bind them all to a prophecy none yet fully understand. It is the slow-burn fuse toward an inevitable confrontation, one that will bring our protagonists together by the end of the first volume in the trilogy.
It's emotional. It's confusing. It's dark. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Right now, Act I is in the editing phase. If you’re one of the fans following me this early in the journey, thank you. Seriously. I’d love your feedback.
If you’re interested in helping shape this trilogy from the ground up, I’m looking for a few dedicated readers to review Act I and give honest critique: thoughts on clarity, flow, character, and anything else that stands out.
If that sounds like you, please reach out through the contact form below. I will be asking that you sign up for the mailing list as a requirement. I’ll be selecting a few early readers, and as a thank-you, I’m preparing a limited edition cloth map of the world. I’ll send this to the first three people who read and critique Act I once the first volume in the trilogy releases.
More updates soon, and as always, thank you for being here!
